Company Introduction

We Taewoong-Medical Co., Ltd was established in 1999 as the venture company that with the purpose to localization up-to-date medical apparatus in biotechnology field, we already prepared to establish our company starting to develop medical apparatus like Niti-S Stent (SNUH) that can cure a aneurysm patients without operation with Seoul Univ. Department of Diagnostic Radiology in 1995

And we won recognition our apparatus efficiency that selected as the frontier technology development business (G7 project) that support the Ministry of Health and Welfare, so now the Seoul National University Hospital is researching as the supervision research responsible institute with the research and development costs that Government support 60% and participant 40% for the past 6 years and from now no more 1 year will doing research constantly.

We are succeeded to invent "Niti-S Stent" through our research and done clinical demonstration in nationwide 5 main University hospital and announced it to international scientific conference. And now we put it on the market and obtain excellent results to substitute import medical apparatuses. Also we will enlarge our business focus on Laser processing Stent and coronary arteries.

We acquired CE certification, ISO9001, ISO13485, and EN46001certificaton and registered 4 patent, 1 international patent, 3 utility model patent, and applied 9 patent, 1 international patent and now our accomplishment is reported through main daily newspapers.

We achieved the project individually that "Development and mass-production of fine platinum coil" that is for the cure of Apoplexy in medical biotechnology with our know-how on the support of Ministry of Health and Welfare. Also we are preparing to develop and mass-produce other 10 up-to-dated medical apparatuses and we are always trying to accomplish research development and industrialization of medical apparatus manufacturing business.
